The Boys & Girls Club of Venice
currently incorporates a complete set of Boys & Girls Clubs
of America standardized program evaluation tools:
Commitment
to Quality is a tool for assessing the effectiveness
of programs and practices, addressing the areas of need, and maximizing
the Club’s ability to serve young people. The process involves
an annual, standardized self-evaluation assessment that helps
to establish quality improvement, objectives and implementation
strategies.
The
Standards of Excellence (SOE) help to facilitate,
measure, and track the effectiveness of the Club Board of Directors,
Staff, Fundraising and Fiscal Management Plan, Program, Facility,
Marketing and Communications, and Technology.
The
Youth Development Outcome Measurement Tool Kit provides
a methodology for measuring the actual impact of its programs
on participating youth over time. It utilizes survey instruments
designed to measure behavior, achievement, and values to compare
Club and non-Club youth, measuring the positive effect of Club
membership.
