Club Partners with KnockOuts For Girls to Raise Money for Scholarships
Venice, Calif. – The 4th Annual Boys & Girls Club of Venice Celebrity Golf Invitational hosted by KnockOuts For Girls will take place on Monday, April 19 at Calabasas Country Club. Join us for a unique, sensational and entertaining golf tournament with KnockOuts providing food, drinks, games, prizes and fun for a great cause at each hole. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Venice/KnockOuts For Girls Scholarship Fund.
The event features participation by over 20 local celebrities, including Samantha Torres, Al Downing, Kenny Landreaux, Marcellus Wiley, JA Adande, Royce Clayton, Rasual Butler, Kelly Perine, Paul Logan, ‘Sweet’ Lou Johnson, Mike Sherrard, Toi Cook, and more!
Sponsorship commitments to date include, Candice and Barak Vaughn, Coca-Cola, Playa Vista, Whole Foods, Stephen N. Smith, Swimmer Development, What Odor?, Harrah’s Entertainment, Michael E. Wise, Byron Jackson of Long Beach BMW, AirTran, Flekman Baren and Co., M & A Partners, The Field Family Foundation, JetBlue Airways, Union Bank, Chrome Vodka, Pop Chips, Two Part Sugar, The Golf Academy, David LaBonte and Marina Plastic Surgery.
“We are excited to bring together friends of the club, and the business community in support of the Club,” said club board member, Stephen N. Smith. “It is a wonderful event featuring a great day of golf, food, fun, and an opportunity to meet some of the club members.”

KnockOuts For Girls (KO4G) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses the discipline of boxing to build self-esteem, promote physical fitness, and empower girls and women, while helping those facing challenges.
The Boys & Girls Club of Venice, founded in 1968, is a non-profit, privately-funded 501 [c](3) non-profit organization, and depends on private donations and volunteers to accomplish its mission.
