            <p>BOYS &amp; GIRLS CLUBS IN LA COUNTY RECEIVES $150,000 GRANT FROM BANK OF AMERICA CHARITABLE FOUNDATION.</p>
            <p>Bank of America charitable Foundation announced that the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of America – Los Angeles County Alliance, which supports the 27 Boys &amp; Girls Clubs located in Los Angeles County, will receive a $150,000 grant. The check was presented at Dodger Stadium to representatives of the Clubs and over 100 of their members as they participated in a ½ Day Dodger Camp hosted by Bank of America.</p>
            <p>As part of the investment by Bank of America, the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Venice will receive $3,500 to support after-school educational and arts programs and in addition will serve as a Title Sponsor to the LA County Youth of the Year program where a Club member from each Club will receive a scholarship to further teir educational objectives. “We are very appreciative of Bank of America’s financial and volunteer investment for our Club. Bank of America is helping us in our mission which is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible adults,” said Julie Henley, Chief Volunteer Officer of the board of the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Venice.</p>
            <p>Bank of America is a corporate partner of the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of America as Clubs work to provide impactful programs for youth. There are nearly 120 Boys &amp; Girls Clubs sites in LA County managed by 27 separate Club organizations. The Clubs three primary focus points is to ensure Club members graduate from high school, live a healthy lifestyle and build a life of community engagement and service.</p>
            <p>Garrett Gin, Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility for Bank of America said, “The Boys &amp; Girls Clubs in Los Angeles County play a critical role in the lives of more than 100,000 underserved youth. Bank of America knows that the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs will fully maximize our grant dollars and volunteer resources to leverage the most for these kids, who go on to graduate high school at greater levels than the national average. We are proud of our small role in the greater ongoing impact these Clubs make on lives and communities. “</p>
            <p>The Boys &amp; Girls Club of Venice was founded in 1968 as a response to the local need for safe, healthy, productive activities for youth during non-school hours. Today the local Club serves more than 4,020 members of the Club, at their sites located in Venice.</p>
