On Friday, October 2nd, the Boys & Girls Club of Venice hosted their 4th Champion of Youth Gala at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey. They honored Nancy & David Iben with the Champion of Youth Award and FIDM with the Corporate Leadership Award.

 The Fourth Annual Champion of Youth Gala's main purpose is to highlight the extraordinary programs and people associated with the Club, and to raise money to go towards sponsoring scholarships for club members, and enhancing core programs such as the arts, character and leadership development, sports, fitness and recreation, and education. The Club purposely keeps dues low ($20 a year) so all youth in the community have the opportunity to come through our doors, be safe, and develop into positive and productive citizens.

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
