With an annual membership of 4,100, the club serves over 500 youth each day, ages 6-17, and is open 50 weeks a year, five days a week during the school year and offers a ten week camp during the summer.

Tradewinds served as the presenting sponsor of the 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Invitational and a Platinum Sponsor of the 4th Annual Fall Gala which honored the volunteer work of Nancy and David Iben who have been longtime supporters of the Club.

Boys & Girls Club of Venice’s middle school students participate in the Tomorrow’s Leaders program which is designed to help teens take critical steps in planning their individual futures. Club members are responsible for turning in their report cards for evaluation, learning their A-G requirements, and creating a post-high school timeline. The program culminates with an end-of-the-year party and by awarding laptops to students who have excelled in the program. United Way of Greater Los Angeles is major funder of the program.

FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) was introduced to the Club by current Club board member, Dena Stitt, who serves as an executive director at FIDM. The FIDM interior design department was instrumental in the renovation of the Club’s art center, dedicated in January 2009, by providing pro bono interior design work and construction plans by professors and students.
